When designing jewelry, I look to nature for inspiration and try to capture the essence of the wilderness that the earth holds. Imperfect shapes, like the trunk of a tree or a pebble from a river inspire curved and irregular lines in my work as a way to make physical the deep connection between humans and nature. Through a slow process of hand fabrication, and occasional casting, I solder, saw, file, sand, shape, and polish each piece of jewelry. I create rings, cuffs, pendants, and earrings that sparkle and catch the eye with a variety of shapes, textures, and colors. My work is precious and valuable, yet durable and wearable. My unique and captivating designs are intended be worn and loved.
